Whirlpool washer error F01. The washers main mother board behind the control panel will need to be replaced to fix this issue.

To replace the board pull the unit forward to gain access to the rear of the unit. There are ¼ inch screws that go into the back of the control panel at an angle. With them removed, the touch pad assembly will roll forward, next unlocking the ribbon connection.

With the control panel out of the way remove the one ¼ inch screw that holds the control board to the washer.

Replacing the wires one at a time so the connections are not confused. Once the board is replaced installing the control panel assembly and test.

Some of these models have been covered under some type of recall. If you encounter the F01 error it may be worth a call to the washers manufacture.
