The newer style bottom mount freezer refrigerators often need adjusting because the refrigerator doors are not level. If the tops of your refrigerator doors are not even, this post is for you.
Electrolux uses a small round sprocket at the bottom of each door to raise and lower the refrigerator doors. Open the freezer and refrigerator door and remove the set screw near the bottom hinge. The set screw screws in from the bottom of the hinge. Once the set screw is removed the sprocket can be turned by hand to adjust the door to the needed spot. Once the adjustment is made check and ensure the door seal is sealing properly. Tighten up the set screw and you’re back in business. Frigidaire bottom mount refrigerator doors are adjusted using the same method.
